Black and Blue Hair

The first time I ever dyed my hair was February 14, 2009. I wanted to do something different so I decided to dye it black and blue. My mom took me to go get it done. I was so curious and nervous to see how it was going to come out.

When I got there, the lady took me to wash my hair. Then she cut it. Next she dyed my hair dark brown which looks black. Then she took half of my hair from the bottom and took hair from the front for highlights. She bleached it. When she was bleaching my hair, my hair was burning so bad. I had to leave it in for at least thirty minutes. When time was up, we washed the bleach out and dyed it blue. After everything was done I was still nervous to see it so I told the hair dresser to just straighten my hair. Finally after everything, I got to see my hair. I loved it!

Everyone from everywhere liked it. They all thought it was something different, like I said. I loved my hair but the only thing I didn’t like was that every time I washed my hair the color would wash out and fade so by a month my hair was so many different shades of blue. I decided to dye it dark brown which looked like black, but then my dark brown washed out and my hair was brown with blonde highlights. So this time I decided to do my hair black with blue at the bottom. I kept it in for a while and kept dying it blue, but after I got sick of having to put blue in, I just dyed the bottom of my hair a color that wouldn’t wash out. Now my hair is black and blonde.
